Extracurricular activities at St. Cecilia offer our students the opportunity to enhance the lessons learned in the classroom. Extracurriculars allow the students to further explore physical, creative, and social interests they may have. Involvement in these activities promotes a positive sense of self, and they give the students hands-on experience in working – and playing – together, essential tools as they grow and mature.
When kids join an extracurricular, they learn about teamwork, competition, and helping others. The activities can help to teach leadership and decision-making skills. Parents can encourage their children to take part in extracurricular activities by getting involved themselves through volunteering.
