The George and Mary Kremer Foundation was established in 1985 for one single purpose: to provide Catholic elementary schools in the continental United States with tuition grants for children from financially challenged families. The goal of the Kremer Foundation is to assist in giving these children the opportunity for a Christ-centered, Catholic education. The Foundation's grants are given only to Catholic elementary schools rather than to individual families. The principals of the participating schools select the students who receive the tuition assistance, based primarily on financial need, without regard to race, gender, nationality, citizenship, or religion.
Grants provided in the 2014-2015 school year extended to over 4000 students in 419 schools, located in 104 arch/dioceses in 45 states, including the District of Columbia. Since the Foundation's inception more than 40,000 elementary students have benefited from the Foundation's grants. To date, the Kremer Foundation has awarded over $49 million dollars to Catholic elementary schools for tuition assistance.
The George and Mary Kremer Foundation was the proud recipient of the National Catholic Educational Association's St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Award in 2008 for significant philanthropy to Catholic education.
Parents interested in applying for the Kremer Grant should contact the school office.
St. Cecilia School has some tuition assistance funds available from the Parish. In order to be considered for financial assistance through the school, parents must create a login and complete an online application through the FACTS Tuition Management System. Once the application is complete, FACTS evaulates a family's tuition assistance need and designs a fair tuition that the family owes and the payments are then routed through the FACTS system.
Families can access the FACTS Tuition Management System through this link - https://factsmgt.com/parents
